Working with non-profits is always a favored choice.

With National Alliance on Mental Illness-Johnston County (NAMI-JC), the goal was to move the local organization off of Homestead and onto a new platform that would allow the new Board to properly deliver certain information into the community. The platform needed to allow for ease of use, flexibility, and be expandable.

There needed to be transparency of who was involved with the non-profit; calling out the Board and Committee members. Support programs, both regular meetings and classes, needed to be listed and shown in calendar form with all ther pertinent details. Appropriate logos needed to be created following for National guidelines. Contact information needed to be provided consistently. Tie-ins with the public Facebook page were requested and the ability to post articles and meeting changes on the home page. A backend private set of discussion forums was made available to users logged in.
